Updating GoDaddy nameservers

This article is for Presshost customers who’s domains are registered with GoDaddy

The nameservers for a domain tells web services where the DNS information is held. If DNS is a road-map for the Internet, then a nameserver is the directory for the domain in question.

It is easy to update this information within your GoDaddy account.

Once you’re logged into your account, simply click on the DNS button next to your domain (or the domain you want to edit if you have multiple domains registered).

In the Nameservers section, you will see the existing servers. To update, click on the blue ‘Change’ button.

Replace the existing server information with the Presshost Servers. They are –

  • ns1.presshost.net.au
  • ns2.presshost.net.au
  • ns3.presshost.net.au

Best practice recommends that nameservers are geographically separated for redundancy. Ours are located in Perth Australia, Singapore and California USA.
